This means that if a load deforms slightly or settles during transport, ropes or webbing will retain some of their initial tension, whereas relatively stiff chains or strapping may slacken completely.
Webbing straps comprise of webbing, tensioners and end fittings. The standard webbing sizes include 25, 35, 50,75 & 100 mm widths and the lashing capacity (LC) is displayed on each assembly that strictly complies with the relevant Australian Standard AS/NZ 1353:1997.
